Chinese Baby Joke: A Chinese couple had a new baby. The nurse brings them over a lovely, healthy, bouncy, black baby boy. "Congratulations," says the nurse to the new parents. "What will you name the baby?" The puzzled father looks at his new child and says "I think we will name him "Sum Ting Wong." (*something wrong*)

往往对每个在新加坡的华人来说,是我们的母语, 但是我们都没有想到, 华文也是我们的文化, 和历史. 华文让我们学到自己以华人的身份学到自己的历史和文化. 新加坡的年轻人,都认为华文只是他们在学校的一个科目,却忽略了自己的根源,也是因为华文在社会上,看起来不重要了,所以大家没有想过要了解自己的历史.
